TEAM ALMA COLLEGE ADMISSIONS

Danny Barr

Hailing from Troy, Michigan, Danny made his way to Mid Michigan to attend Alma College to study Theatre. He liked it so much he decided to stay and now works in Admissions as the Assistant Director of Transfer Admissions. As a student at Alma, Danny participated in various theatre productions and also sang for the a cappella group, Scots on the Rocks. A fun fact about Danny is he has helped deliver Golden Retriever puppies with his parents! His parents were breeders for many years.

Hanna Scott

Hanna comes to us all the way from Canyon Lake, California. She auditioned for America’s Got Talent when she was ten but says she was a better dancer than singer at the time. Hanna made her way to Michigan to attend Alma College, following in the footsteps of her uncle. She is currently an Admissions Counselor in the Alma College Admissions Office. She says that the Admissions Crew likes to get together at lunch and play pickleball in the Rec!

Jake Sommers

Jake is originally from Shelby Township, Michigan and is a graduate of Oakland University. He now lives in Alma and works at Alma College as an Admissions Counselor. He enjoys working with high school students to find out if Alma College is their next destination. Jake owns hundreds of DVD’s and Blu-Rays, mostly superhero and scary movies. He and his wife will have one more video to add to the collection after the Arts United show!
