United for Moms Bolsters Agencies Serving Women & Children

In honor of Mother’s Day, we hosted our 2nd annual United for Moms initiative during the month of May. Focusing on collecting personal care items, cleaning products, and baby items, we worked with community partners to bolster supplies of essential goods for local non-profits.

United for Moms rallies people in honor of Mother’s Day to fill essential gaps experienced by so many in the community. “Mother’s Day celebrates the influence of mothers and reminds us we have opportunities to support those around us,” says Annie Sanders, President & CEO. “Our community is very much like a family in coming together.”

We are proud to share that together we collected 20,706 items valued over $14,600 and distributed them to the following eight mid-Michigan organizations who serve women and children in need on a daily basis.

  • Child Advocacy-Gratiot County

  • Community Compassion Network Infant Pantry

  • Gratiot Community Personal Needs Pantry

  • Life Choices of Central Michigan

  • Pompeii Baby Pantry

  • Pregnancy Services of Gratiot County

  • RISE Advocacy

  • The Care Store

We extend a special thank you to our volunteers and to everyone who donated!
